The Chichén Itzá Hotel is the perfect base for exploring the Yucatán. Sites worth visiting include Balancanché Cave, Ik-kil Cenote (a sinkhole with water) and Dzitnup-underground cenote- unique.

Recently renovated, the hotel has 44 spacious rooms with air conditioning, TV and on suite bathrooms featuring counters made of local pink marble. Colorful Mexican ceramics, textiles and tiles have been carefully selected to enhance the decor of every room. 

The two wings of the hotel look out on the pool and the sheltered gardens.

Lovingly tended by local gardeners, the lawns are peppered with palm and banana trees and a host os fragrant flowering plants native to the region.

Reception staff can help guests with a range of travel queries, including information on guides and transport to Chichén Itzá, tickets to the Light & Sound Show staged nightly in the archaeological site, horseback riding trips to Old Chichén, and excursions to sites of interest in the area.
