built in one of the oldest buildings in San Cristóbal
de las Casas, Chiapas, México. The original house was
constructed at the beginning of the 18th century with it's traditional
adobe walls covered white mortar and hand carved beam ceilings.
The
brick floors are edged with stone, and hand-hewn timber struts.
The building was converted to a hotel in 1993.
